ShortThumbs has no server. When you add a photo it is read directly by your browser using the File API, drawn on a local canvas and never transmitted anywhere. There is nothing to upload to.
Most tools say "we respect your privacy". ShortThumbs literally cannot see your work, because there is no backend to send it to.

Your in-progress design is stored in localStorage on your own machine so a refresh does not lose work. Clearing your browser data removes it completely — we could not recover it even if you asked.
There is no sign-up and no third-party analytics script. The site is static files served from Cloudflare's CDN.
Google Fonts is loaded so your text looks right. That request goes to Google's font CDN; nothing about your designs is included in it.
